1. Information You Provide
Depending on how you use Eyesberg, you may provide:
- account information, such as your email address and sign-in credentials;
- documents, books, PDFs, text files, images, audio files, notes, bookmarks, and other research material;
- questions, prompts, Concept Boards, Idea Lattice content, annotations, interpretations, and other project information;
- content you choose to publish or share;
- feedback or communications you send to us.
Your private project materials are not made public unless you explicitly choose to share or publish them.
2. Local and User-Controlled Storage
Eyesberg is designed as a local-first application.
Where supported, project files and source materials may be stored on your device and may optionally be synchronized using a storage provider you choose, such as iCloud or another supported provider.
Your use of a third-party storage provider is also governed by that provider’s privacy policy and terms.
Eyesberg does not treat its own cloud infrastructure as the mandatory permanent storage location for your private research projects.
3. AI Processing
Some Eyesberg features require artificial intelligence processing.
When you request a feature that requires cloud AI processing, Eyesberg may transmit information necessary to perform that request to an approved AI or infrastructure provider.
Depending on the task, this may include:
- selected source passages;
- questions or prompts;
- images;
- audio;
- extracted text;
- relevant project context.
Where practical, Eyesberg is designed to send only the information reasonably necessary to perform the requested task rather than an entire project or source library.
We do not provide your private research materials to other Eyesberg users.
We do not use your private sources as part of Eyesberg’s shared reference library unless you explicitly choose to contribute them and they satisfy applicable rights and review requirements.
4. Shared and Published Content
Eyesberg may allow you to share or publish Concept Boards, videos, presentations, profiles, or other outputs.
Sharing an Eyesberg-created board or product does not automatically grant access to the original private source files used to create it.
You control whether eligible content is shared or published.
Information that you deliberately publish may be visible to others according to the sharing settings you select.
5. Standard and Community Sources
Eyesberg may maintain a standard reference library containing material that is:
- in the public domain;
- openly licensed;
- licensed to Eyesberg; or
- otherwise authorized for the applicable use.
If Eyesberg offers users the ability to contribute sources to a shared library, contribution will be optional.
Contributed sources may undergo automated and/or human review for quality, provenance, duplication, rights, spam, corruption, and other integrity concerns before inclusion.
Uploading a private source does not automatically contribute it to the shared library.
6. Diagnostics and Analytics
Essential diagnostics
Eyesberg may collect limited operational information necessary to operate and secure the service, such as:
- application crashes;
- synchronization failures;
- job failures;
- performance information;
- security events;
- billing or entitlement errors;
- basic device or software compatibility information.
Essential diagnostic information is used to maintain reliability, security, and compatibility.
Ordinary operational diagnostic logs are generally retained for up to 30 days, unless longer retention is reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, billing disputes, legal obligations, or a specific investigation.
Optional product analytics
Eyesberg may offer an optional setting such as Help Improve Eyesberg.
When disabled, Eyesberg will not collect optional product-usage analytics through that feature.
If you enable it, Eyesberg may collect information such as:
- which features are used;
- broad interaction patterns;
- performance measurements;
- feature completion or failure rates.
Eyesberg does not use the contents of your uploaded sources, private questions, notes, Concept Boards, or project knowledge merely for product analytics.
7. Advertising and Tracking
Eyesberg does not sell your personal information.
Eyesberg does not use your private project content for advertising.
Eyesberg does not use advertising identifiers or track you across unrelated companies’ apps or websites for advertising purposes.
If Eyesberg’s practices change materially in the future, this Privacy Policy and any applicable consent mechanisms will be updated before those practices are introduced.
8. Purchases and Billing
Purchases made through Apple platforms may be processed by Apple.
Eyesberg may receive information necessary to determine:
- whether a subscription is active;
- which products were purchased;
- entitlement status;
- credit balances;
- transaction or receipt identifiers needed for validation.
Eyesberg does not receive your full payment-card information from Apple.
Additional payment methods, if introduced on other platforms, may be processed by third-party payment providers and will be disclosed where applicable.
9. Credits
Eyesberg may offer subscriptions that include usage credits and may allow additional credits to be purchased.
Transaction and credit-ledger information may be retained as necessary to correctly maintain balances, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and comply with accounting or legal requirements.
Purchased credits offered through Apple In-App Purchase do not expire solely because time has passed.
10. Data Retention
Eyesberg attempts to retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
Examples include:
- ordinary operational logs: generally up to 30 days;
- Recently Deleted project items: generally up to 7 days before permanent removal;
- account and entitlement records: while your account is active and as reasonably necessary afterward for account administration;
- billing, tax, fraud, dispute, and legally required records: as required for the applicable purpose;
- published content: until you remove or unpublish it, subject to technical, legal, and backup limitations;
- temporary cloud-processing material: only as long as reasonably necessary to complete and secure the requested processing, subject to provider requirements.
Deleting information may not erase copies that another person previously downloaded or independently retained from content you intentionally shared.
11. Security
Eyesberg uses technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect private project information.
Depending on the platform and feature, these protections may include:
- encryption;
- device-protected credentials;
- access controls;
- project isolation;
- authenticated synchronization;
- integrity verification;
- restricted provider access.
No electronic system can guarantee absolute security.
If we become aware of a security incident that triggers a legal notification requirement, we will provide notice as required by applicable law.
12. Children
Eyesberg is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, contact privacy@eyesberg.ai.
13. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including rights to:
- request access;
- request correction;
- request deletion;
- receive information about how data is used;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- request portability where applicable.

14. California Privacy Rights
California residents may have additional rights under applicable California privacy laws, including rights related to access, correction, deletion, and information about disclosures of personal information.
Eyesberg does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are generally used under California privacy law.

15. International Users
Eyesberg may be used outside the United States.
Information processed through cloud providers may be transferred to or processed in countries other than the country where you live.
Where required, Eyesberg will use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
16. Third-Party Services
Eyesberg may rely on third-party services for functions such as:
- artificial intelligence processing;
- cloud infrastructure;
- synchronization;
- authentication;
- payment processing;
- crash reporting;
- optional analytics.
Those services may process information only as necessary for the applicable Eyesberg feature and according to their respective agreements and privacy obligations.
We will maintain appropriate disclosures as production providers are finalized.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Eyesberg evolves.
Material changes will be reflected by changing the effective date and, where appropriate, providing additional notice through the app, website, or account interface.
We will not silently redefine private project sources as public content.
